One of the most important items on the agenda will be the presentation of a new 3 Year Plan for DRMC. Strategic Planning: a new 3 Year Plan for the Deep Roots Music Cooperative Last October, the Deep Roots Music Cooperative entered into a strategic planning process with the Acadia Centre for Social and Business Entrepreneurship (ACSBE). Part of the purpose of the planning exercise was to establish new goals and priorities that reflect our strengths and opportunities and which should help the Cooperative to have a greater impact on both the local region and the music community. After seeking extensive input from DRMC members, partners and other Deep Roots stakeholders by means of an online survey, the Board convened a series of planning meetings last October and November. The result is a new 3 Year Plan for the Deep Roots Music Cooperative that is to be presented at the DRMC AGM in the Board Room of the Irving Center at Acadia on Sunday, January 24, starting at 2:00 pm.
